Cottage Cheese Bread


1 Becher Huettenkaese (454g)

2 Eier

4 El Wasser

1 1/2 El weiche Butter

1 1/2 El Honig

3/4 El Salz

500g Weizenmehl

250g Vollkornweizenmehl

2 Pakete Trockenhefe

Samen nach Wahl: hier Leinsamen


3 cups of cottage cheese

2 eggs

4 spoon of water

1 1/2 spoon of soft butter

1 1/2 spoon of honey

3/4 spoon of salt

2 cup of flour

1 1/2 cup of whole grain flour

2 packages of yeast

seeds of your choice: here flaxseeds

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Put the duff into a container and give him an hour in a warm room to grow.


After that take it out the container and place it on a baking paper. Cut a cross into the duff, so it can grow in the oven.

Bake the bread in an heated oven for 30-35 minutes at 300 degrees.
